Silken Pearl - Silken Pearl is a 100% Silk thread with a tight twist similar to a pearl cotton which is hand dyed. 15 yards each. A beautiful thread for wool applique, needlepoint and quilt embellishment, or cross stitch on 18 count linen. This thread is a favorite for use bullion knots, especially in wool applique.
Sanibel - Sanibel is 100% Kid Goat Mohair that has NOT been brushed. Once you complete stitching you can brush your stitched work for the amount of mohair 'halo' you want. We suggest using this for sweaters, animals and combined with other fibers for interest in needlepoint. Embroidery and wool applique are other applications where this thread shines. Skein yardage is 25 yards.
Oriental Linen - Oriental Linen fiber is composed of 52% silk and 48% linen with 10 yards per skein. Oriental Linen is a slightly nubby thread which adds textural interest to any piece. It is a great choice for wool applique & embellishment. 2 ply for specialty stitches on 18 ct canvas or basketweave on 13 ct canvas, use 1 ply for basketweave on 18 ct canvas.
