Return Policy

Returns must be made within 14 days of purchase/delivery with receipt.  

We accept returns of threads* purchased from our shop that are unused, undamaged/not soiled, and without odor. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return regarding refund approval. Refunds will be issued based on the original payment method, typically your credit card, within 10 business days.  We reserve the right to assess a 3% fee for restocking any return. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

We are not able to accept returns or cancellations on canvases, beads and embellishments, special orders, finishing, accessories, frames and stands, lights, books, stitch guides, clubs and class materials.  Please shop with care for non-refundable items.

When Fireside Stitchery places a pre-order with a vendor on your behalf, we are unable to cancel the order with the vendor. Any orders for canvases or threads that you requested are therefore non-refundable. 

Across the needlepoint industry, designers are challenged by delays in painting services and/or the limited supply of canvas.  A designer provides an estimated availability date which is communicated to the customer. Fireside Stitchery follows up with the designer as the date approaches and updates are provided to the customer. In the unlikely event a product that is special ordered is not available in the timeframe communicated, a store credit may be offered.

*Threads included in Fireside Stitch Guides are nonrefundable.

Damage in Transit

If your package is damaged in transit, please take photos of the damage, and also the condition of the contents as you unpack the box/envelope. The customer must take pictures and submit a case & claim to USPS.  We will also follow up on our end, but the customer has to submit the initial case & claim.

We apologize for any delays in completing the order process as we may need to place a pre-order with the vendor/designer. We will make every effort to fulfill your order in it's entirety, as soon as possible.
