Spring Thaw Retreat & Breakout Classes

 Enjoy a fabulous spring weekend at Fireside's Spring Thaw Retreat! Stitch all day, enjoy great food, and spread your social butterfly wings with fellow stitchers at the stunning Aronimink Clubhouse. Shop retreat-exclusive pop-ups & learn from some of the best in the industry through a break out class or two! Easy 15 minute drive to Fireside Stitchery for in-store shopping. 

All 3 days price: $525/seat. Includes three days of stitching, lunches/refreshments, Friday welcome dinner (6:00PM), 20% off purchases in store on in stock items weekend of retreat. 

Single day pricing: $185/seat. Includes day of stitching, lunch/refreshments, 20% off purchase in store on in stock items weekend of retreat. 

Decorative Stitch/Embellishment (2-day) Breakout Class - Separate purchase. Cynthia's decorative stitch class features a beautiful Labors of Love Spring Robin, with a selection of stunning stitches and beadwork. Class will be held in separate room at Aronimink and will include the full kit, canvas & two days of instruction. Between sessions, stitchers have ability to rejoin group retreat in Ballroom. Friday/Saturday class.

Finishing Breakout Classes (partial day, 9:30am-12pm) -  AM class 1/2 day, offered daily. Stitchers will finish a 5" or less ROUND canvas into a flatback ornament or coaster. Stitchers must supply own backing fabric, cording (DMC pearl 5) & stitched canvas. All other materials included. Included in class:  2.5-hour instruction, instruction guide, comprehensive materials list, use of all necessary tools, batting/boards

Anne Fisher Monogramming Class (partial day, see class selection for time) - PM class, offered daily. Learn how to chart and paint your monogram onto a canvas from your stash or from our Retreat-exclusive canvas offerings!

Cynthia Time (30 minute, at a time that works for your planned day) - Custom stitch guide assistance 1-on-1 with Cynthia Thomas, professional stitch guide writer. Get tips and tricks on what threads to use and which stitches to select for a canvas from your stash. 

Retreat pricing does not include breakout classes.
