Tips & Tricks

Use a laying tool to enlarge a hole sufficiently to feed the wired thread through to the back of the canvas.   Using a complementary color to secure the end of the wire to the back of the canvas, this will require several looping stitches.  Use couching stitch to secure the fiber to the front of your work in the desired area.  You will need to create a second larger hole to push the wire to the back of the canvas and secure it in place.   

Recommended Use:

13 mesh and 18 mesh work fiber on the surface as individual embellishment, or braid multiple strands for further interest.
