Quills are ethically sourced from African Porcupines. WARNING - Quill tip is VERY sharp! Laying tools are light weight.
Each Porcupine Quill goes through a lengthy process to become a proficient laying tool. The Porcupine Quill is the Ultimate Laying Tool, is softer than a hardwood or metal laying tool and will soften with the heat of your hand. Lamp Work Glass beads were chosen for the top decorative bead because it has the least chance of fracturing. The beads are sourced from all over the world from Europe to Australia to Africa to the United States. No two are alike since glass beads are made by hand, like the Porcupine Quills made by Mother Nature.
